About

Why the Alumni Association

We want to see graduates continue advancing Chi Alpha’s mission to transform the university, the marketplace, and the world through joining the National Chi Alpha Alumni Association.

Letter from the Chairman

Hello,

My name is Jonathan Sixtos, and I serve as the Chairman of the National Chi Alpha Alumni Association. I’m so glad you stopped by our website and I’m excited about the work we’re doing to advance the mission and vision of Chi Alpha across the country.

When surveying how my time in XA cultivated skills necessary for success, I am reminded of our motto: Transforming the University, The Marketplace, and The World. When I learned a few years ago that a new arm of this ministry was forming, I leapt at the opportunity to help. As Chairman of the National Chi Alpha Alumni Association I have been blessed to connect with former Chi Alphans who are contributing in their respective fields across the country. Our alumni include host of marketplace missionaries like teachers, engineers, musicians, bankers, and even a notable NFL quarterback. Together we continue to pray over the ministries on our home campuses and near our homes and jobs. Relocating alumni have testified to the familial bond with fellow Chi Alphans from around the nation. We seek to give back to the ministry that helped us develop gifts and talents and solidify God’s calling on our lives.

Connect. Pray. Give. That is the motto of the National Chi Alpha Alumni Association. While many of us may not have the opportunity to travel overseas and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ, we go to work every day and live out our faith. Whether we take emails or take the field, enter offices or arenas, we carry the skills and witness sharpened by our time in Chi Alpha. Each day we transform the marketplace by offering our best effort on the job, authentic interactions with coworkers, and covering our friends and coworkers with earnest prayers. Christ petitioned us to pray for the harvest in Luke chapter 10, and I’m encouraged to know the nation is filling up with Chi Alpha grads who are entering the workforce with a passion for revival. I ask you to join with us as we Connect, Pray, and Give to see the work of Chi Alpha not only influence colleges and universities across America, but to equip young adults to make a difference in their career (mission) field after graduation.

Sincerely,

Jonathan D. Sixtos
